Iranian Cultural Society of Greater Miami Presents ‘Armenian Night’

The Iranian Cultural Society of Greater Miami Presents ‘Armenian Night’, a tribute to Armenian people, their beautiful culture, and in appreciation of their valuable contribution in enrichment of Persian culture.

The evening will include live Armenian and Persian musical performances by Reza Filsoofi and Joe Zeytounian. Dr. Eftekhari will discuss notable Iranian-Armenian people and their contribution to Persian culture. Tea, snacks, and food will be provided.

St. Hagop Armenian Church to Launch ‘Cultural Series’ in 2019

 

PINELLAS PARK, FL – St. Hagop Armenian Church will launch it’s first ever ‘Cultural Series’ in 2019. Three performances are currently scheduled for January, February, and March. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased in advance online here. Below is a listing of announced events:

  • Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 1:30pm: Haig Yaghoobian, Pianist
  • Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 1:30pm: Bared Maronian, Film Producer
  • Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 1:30pm: Dr. Haig Mardirosian, Organist

Guest Writer/Contributor & Research Assistant Opportunity

Florida Armenians is seeking applicants for the Guest Writer/Contributor & Research Assistant position for the summer. The guest writer/contributor should have a passion for writing and the position is flexible to any field relative to both Armenian-Americans and the State of Florida; culture, religion, business, politics, sports, music, events, etc. The research assistant candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of the value of information, be able to navigate and identify local and national press, blogs, and think-tanks. Use of social media is a plus. Applicants should demonstrate strong writing skills, understanding of current events, and be well organized. This is not a paid position.
