Mike Jeknavorian has written for U-Wire, Tampa Bay Scene Magazine, and Sarasota Magazine. He has over six years of experience as an educator, and he currently works for Aetna Insurance as a senior disability benefits manager/writing auditor. Mike also serves as the communications director for his HOA. Mike grew up in New York City and Connecticut before relocated to the Tampa area with his partner in 2001, and then to South Florida in 2009. Mike holds a Master’s degree in media studies/multimedia journalism from the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in adult education and curriculum design at Florida Atlantic University.
