Obituary: Margaret Apoian Lave (1933-2026)

Born in Chicago, IL on December 6th 1933. Died peacefully in Boca Raton FL on April 29th 2026.
Margaret Apoian Lave met her husband, Robert J. Lave, and they were married on February 11, 1956. She is survived by her four children: her son Gregory and his wife Ellen; her daughter Tamara; her son Chris; and her youngest son, Steven, and his wife Meghan. She is also survived by her grandchildren Carter, Maggi, and Harrison and his wife Kristen.
She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Louise Apoian, and Louise’s children: Mariam Apoian-Spaulding, Nick Apoian, and Dina Apoian-Clark; as well as Carol Lave McAdams and her children, David, Peter, and Monica McAdams. She also leaves behind many more nieces and nephews.
Margaret loved and cherished her family deeply.
Margaret was truly happiest in the kitchen at St. David’s, where she was known as “the pilaf lady.” For 30 years, she was there every Saturday at 6 a.m., faithfully serving. She worked full-time until she was 82 years old.
She spoke kindly to everyone.
Simply put, she was a true Christian and lived her life accordingly.
She is our mother, and we will miss her dearly. ✝️
