‘Four Children: Genocide in their own words’ Showing at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – In this emotionally charged theatrical event, four budding young writers share their first person accounts of life during the Holocaust and genocides in Armenia, Cambodia and Sarajevo. Their voices remind us that, without vigilance, tragedies like theirs can happen anywhere, anytime.
Made possible by a grant from the MLDauray Arts Initiative in honor of Leonard and Sophie Davis.
‘Four Children’ will showing at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, 701 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33401, from March 25th through March 27th, 2022 in the Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Playhouse.

Australian-Armenian Opera Singer Christopher Nazarian Performing in St. Pete Opera Company

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – St. Pete Opera is staging, Semele, Handel’s glorious music and story of unbridled love, jealousy, and revenge, with an an energetic modern makeover. The opera features Australian-Armenian opera singer Christopher Nazarian, in the role of Cadmus.
Semele, the latest mortal dalliance of Jupiter, becomes convinced that she won’t be happy until she is made immortal. Opposing her plan is Juno, Jupiter’s long-suffering wife, who schemes Semele’s downfall.
Handel’s brilliant English opera, set to a comic libretto by Restoration poet William Congreve, shows a full range of innocent love, nearly unchecked libido, jealous rage, ambition, regret and triumph.
The score includes such familiar favorites as “Where e’er you walk,” “Iris, hence away!” and “Myself I shall adore.”
