American University of Armenia, University of Miami to Co-Host Program on ‘Russia’s Near Abroad’

MIAMI, FL – The American University of Armenia (AUA) and the University of Miami (UM) will co-host a program entitled “Russia’s Near Abroad” on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 11:20PM ET.

The discussion will feature Dr. Dina Mouliokova, Director of Undergraduate Studies, University of Miami, International Studies; Roger Kanet, Professor Emeritus of Political Science, UM and former Dean of UM’s School of International Studies (1997-2000); Dr. Vahram Ter-Matevosyan, PSIA Program Chair and Associate Professor, AUA; and Dr. Arsen Gasparyan, Associate Professor, AUA.

Armenian American Comedian Mark “Jiggy” Jigarjian Coming to Orlando, Tampa, and Miami

Florida Armenians is pleased to announce that New York-based Armenian American comedian Mark “Jiggy” Jigarjian will be performing live in Orlando, Miami, and Tampa this April. Below is a list of his upcoming performances:

Mark “Jiggy” Jigarjian was born and raised outside of Boston, MA and has been performing stand up comedy since 2008. He is best known for his work with TruTV’s Impractical Jokers, touring with them as an opening act for over 7 years. In this role he played some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including sold out shows at Madison Square Garden for the New York Comedy Festival.

Mark has also been featured on TruTV’s After Party, Jokers Wild and in Impractical Jokers: The Movie. He is currently developing a comedy/cooking television show in development and he is a proud member of the iconic Friars Club.
