Forbidden Saints to Perform Live in Doral
Florida Armenians is pleased to announce that Forbidden Saints will perform LIVE in the City of Doral, FL on Saturday, January 23, 2016 in Downtown Doral Park at 5:30pm. The concert is free and open to the public.
The Forbidden Saints are a world music super group featuring top musicians from Armenia to Paraguay, and points in between, who blend seemingly incompatible sounds into an unforgettable musical collage.
The Forbidden Saints include band members:
- Amen Movsessian (Violin), Armenia
- Kamo Seyranyan (Duduk ), Armenia
- Hova Burian (Bass), Armenia
- Sasha Zhiroff (Cello), Russia
- Archie Pena (Drums), Venezuela
- Rey Rios (Guitar), Cuba
- Fito Espinola (Guitar), Paraguay
- Victor Espinola (Harp), Paraguay

Iranian-Armenian Concert at FIU
Florida Armenians invites you to a special Iranian-Armenian musical performance this Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 7:30 PM at Florida International University (FIU), Biscayne Bay Campus, Wolfe University Center, 3000 NE 151st St, Miami, Florida 33181.
The concert is a collaboration between Harmonic Motion and Caravan Ensemble, and will feature the following artists:
- Joe Zeytoonian: Oud & Vocals
- Reza Filsoofi: Setar & Vocals
- Myriam Eli: Percussion

This performance is a selection of familiar tunes which have roots in both Persian and Armenian cultures, along with some traditional melodies.
Tickets are $15 per person, and $10 for students with valid ID.
