110th Anniversary Armenian Genocide Commemoration of South Florida

The St. David Armenian Church of Boca Raton and St. Mary Armenian Church of Hollywood Host the 110th Anniversary Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide on Thursday, April 24th, 2025. The event is Co-Hosted by Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Center for Holocaust and Human Rights Education.

An evening of remembrance, reflection, and resilience as we honor the memory of our martyrs and the enduring spirit of the Armenian people.

⏰ 5:30pm Prayer at St. David
⏰ 6:00pm Procession to FAU
⏰ 7:00pm Commemorative Program at FAU

We will begin with a prayer at 5:30 PM at the memorial monument at St. David Armenian Church, followed by a procession to Florida Atlantic University for the main commemorative ceremony.
Commemoration Ceremony will take place at 7:00 PM.

🗣️ Guest Speaker: Dr. Asya Darbinyan
🎼 Live Musical Performances by local Armenian American musicians in honor of our ancestors and their lasting legacy.

Transportation Assistance:
A shuttle bus will be available to transport people from St. David to FAU, with the drop-off back at St. David Church.

Let’s come together in unity to remember, to pray, and to honor the enduring strength of the Armenian people — a strength that lives on through memory, culture, and faith.
